Booklist Publications
We have been graciously awarded a grant from the Booklist Publications/Mellon Foundation grant on behalf of small and rural libraries. The Mellon Foundation has provided us monthly copies of the Booklist Reader from the American Library Association and Booklist. We will receive monthly copies for a full year. The Booklist Reader is a magazine featuring upcoming books and audiobooks for readers of all ages. FREE copies will be made available in the Library.

2023 Art Show and Sale Application
Calling all artists for the 2023 Art Show and Sale to take place on the weekend of July 14th, 15th, and 16th.
This year we are asking that all participating artists decorate a wooden fish to be donated to our auction.
Opening Artists Reception: Friday, July 14th 6-7:30
Show: Saturday, July 15th 10-4
Sunday, July 16th 10-4
Show Location: Long Lake Town Hall
Requirements: All items submitted will be offered for sale or marked not for sale
Name and prices should be displayed for each piece. Media to include painting, photography, wood, sculpture, and fibers.
Limited to 5 pieces of work.
In lieu of commission or fees we are asking each artist to decorate a wooden fish for our auction. Details at library.

We would like to graciously thank Stewart’s Shop for a $500 donation to support the Summer Reading Program, “All Together Now.” The donation has been applied in purchasing books, as a reward, for each child that comes in and completes the summer reading program scavenger hunt.

Mark Manske, Adirondack Raptors, will be giving a live birds of prey presentation at the Mt. Sabattis Pavilion.
