About The Friends:
The Friends of the CVW Long Lake Public Library is a nonprofit organization whose purpose is to support and expand the educational, cultural, and outreach programs of the CVW Long Lake Public Library. The Friends work with Library staff to build collections, support programming, and stimulate interest in the Library.

What The Friends Do:
Money raised by the Friends helps pay for many of the events at the CVW Long Lake Public Library.
- Children’s programming in the libraries, including the Summer Reading Program, puppet shows, craft programs, and storytellers
- Teen programming and book clubs
- Adult programming including author talks, poetry readings, history lectures, and lunchtime concerts
- Farm 2 Library
How The Friends Raise Money:
- Membership dues and donations
- Annual Book Sale (summer)
- Brick Program
- Annual Ladies Luncheon (December)
- Online sales through our Amazon online sales site (Select “Friends of the Long Lake Library” as your charity of choice. Amazon will donate 0.5% of your purchase to the Friends of the Library.)
