About The Friends:
The Friends of the CVW Long Lake Public Library is a nonprofit organization whose purpose is to support and expand the educational, cultural, and outreach programs of the CVW Long Lake Public Library. The Friends work with Library staff to build collections, support programming, and stimulate interest in the Library.

What The Friends Do:
Money raised by the Friends helps pay for many of the events at the CVW Long Lake Public Library.
- Adult programming including author talks, poetry readings, history lectures, and concerts
- Children’s programming in the libraries, including the Summer Reading Program, craft programs, and storytellers
- Farm 2 Library
- Student Scholarships
How The Friends Raise Money:
- Art Show and Auction
- Annual Ladies Luncheon (December)
- Brick Program
- Membership dues and donations
- We Need Friends!
