“Fenimore Blues, based in Saratoga Springs, N.Y., performs an eclectic mix of blues, R&B, and rock. The powerful vocals of Sherian Nolan are backed by musicians on guitar, keyboards, saxophone, bass, and drums, with one band member doubling on accordion. This combination enables the group to perform a range of styles and a varied repertoire, drawing on music notables from Bonnie Raitt to Aretha Franklin, the Neville Brothers to the Allman Brothers, Linda Ronstadt to Etta James, Santana to Tedeschi Trucks.”

This project is made possible with funds from the Restart NY Regrants 2021-22 Mini-Grant program, a regrant program of the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature and administered by the Adirondack Lakes Center for the Arts.

Tele-Health Services Now Available

We, now, have equipment for telehealth services. A grant provided by Network of the National Library of Medicine has awarded us funds to purchase telehealth equipment.

What is telehealth?

Telehealth is the use of digital information and communication technologies, such as computers and mobile devices, to access health care services remotely and manage your health care. These may be technologies you use from home (or at the library, or that your doctor uses to improve or support health care services.

Telehealth provides health care accessible to people who live in rural or isolated communities; Make services more readily available or convenient for people with limited mobility, time or transportation options; Provide access to medical specialists.Improve communication and coordination of care among members of a health care team and a patient; Provide support for self-management of health care.

How to get started?

Contact your doctor to ask if telehealth is possible. If so, make an appointment with your doctor. Then, contact the library. We will have the equipment set up in the solarium for when you arrive.

Easy P’easy!

Strategic Plan 2022-2027

The 5 year strategic plan has been completed and available to view in its entirety at Strategic Plan 2022-2027.

The development of the strategic plan took considerable time and the dedicated effort of many people. We would like to extend our sincere thanks to all those who helped make this plan a reality. The Library staff for their contribution in the process, who ultimately made this plan succeed by informing patrons at the circulation desk. The members of the Library Board of Trustees for their participation and support of the process. The community leaders who showcased information to the strategic plan on their community and social media outlets.

Finally, we would like to thank the community. Without your participation, we would not have known what aspirations you foresee for the Library’s connection within the community, and programs you would like us to showcase.
