Construction of the new handicapped entrance and addition to the Long Lake Library has been completed under the supervision of Bob Pitcher, Sr., Clerk of the Works, along with the help of many other workers and volunteers. Funds were awarded to the Library after being awarded a New York State Construction Grant making possible the new handicapped entrance along with new space for a reference room, office, kitchen and entrance room and bookdrop. The Long Lake Library will be hosting an opening celebration to show off the beautiful new handicapped entrance and addition on Saturday, November 3rd from 1-3 PM at the library. The community is invited to attend this special event.
